Rent a Hive

1. Tailored to your needs: Choose whether to have your hive at home or one of our apiaries. (please note you will to make special arrangements to visit the hive in our apiary)

2. Price: The price of the hive hire starts at $566.76,
   The cheapest and safest place to keep the hive would be one of our apiaries.

3. Hive Installation:  If you choose to have the hive at your home we will deliver and install a fully operational hive at your location, ensuring it complements your space and meets safety standards.

4. Updates: If you have chosen to have your hive at one of our apiaries you will get regular updates of how they progress during the season. If possible and you want you might be able to visit your hive regularly. Visit with us to see.

5. Expert Care: Experienced beekeepers handle all hive management tasks throughout the year, including regular inspections, maintenance, and ensuring the health of the colony.

6. Honey Harvesting: At the end of the beekeeping season, typically beginning to the middle of August we harvest the honey produced by your hive. The amount of honey will depend on the weather but you will get roughly 20-60 pounds of Honey.

7. How we give you the honey: We will supply the honey in food grade buckets, if you would like them in individual glass jars please speak to use before harvesting, there will be an extra cost to you for this.

8. Enjoy Local Honey: You receive the honey harvested from your hive, ready to savour or use in your culinary creations.
